Terms of Use for Bodymodo
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Bodymodo Android app. Bodymodo is provided by the Developer Team.
By using Bodymodo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are provided in good faith and are not legal advice.
1. Age Eligibility
Bodymodo is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Bodymodo, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.
2. Required and Optional Consent
Bodymodo may ask you to accept required legal and safety terms before using personalized features. Cloud sync, AI workout generation, analytics, and advertising privacy choices are optional or region-specific and can be declined or changed later from Profile > Cloud sync or Profile > Privacy controls where available.
3. Fitness and Nutrition Guidance
Bodymodo provides general fitness, workout, nutrition, hydration, habit, and progress tools. Bodymodo is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, mental-health advice, or a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional.
You are responsible for choosing workouts, exercises, meals, goals, and routines that are appropriate for your health, equipment, environment, and experience level. Stop any movement that causes sharp, unusual, or concerning pain.
Some exercise images or videos may be AI-generated or AI-assisted and are provided for illustrative guidance only. Always follow the written instructions, use proper form, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort.
Talk to a doctor or qualified professional before beginning a new fitness or nutrition routine if you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, eating disorder history, medication concern, or any other health risk.
4. Accounts and Guest Use
You can use Bodymodo as a guest without creating an account. Guest data is stored on the device and can be lost if the App is uninstalled, app data is cleared, or the device is lost.
If you create or sign into an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens through your account. If you believe your account is no longer secure, contact the Developer Team through the app store contact channel or in-app feedback/contact flow.
If Cloud sync is available and you turn it on, selected account data may be stored in Bodymodo's Firebase backend so Bodymodo can provide backup, restore, deletion, and multi-device sync. Cloud sync is optional, off by default, and unavailable to guest users.
5. Your Data
Your local workout, nutrition, measurement, reminder, and progress data belongs to you. Bodymodo provides export and local-delete options in Profile. Signed-in users can delete their account from Profile.
Bodymodo's Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, what stays on device, how optional Cloud sync, AI, analytics, ads, and advertising privacy choices work, and how to submit privacy or deletion requests.
6. AI-Generated Workouts
Some workouts may be generated, adapted, or summarized using AI if you grant AI consent. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate for your situation, or unsafe if followed without review.
Review each plan before starting. Use your judgment, skip or modify anything unsafe, and do not rely on AI output as medical or professional advice.
7. Reminders and Notifications
If you enable reminders, Bodymodo may send local notifications for workouts, water, streaks, or other app features. You can turn reminders off in the App or through Android settings.
8. Ads and Optional Rewards
Ad-supported versions of Bodymodo may display ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are subject to Google policies and availability. Bodymodo may change, limit, disable, or remove ad formats at any time.
Rewarded ads, if enabled, are optional and must be started by you. Rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be changed, limited, or unavailable. Bodymodo does not require rewarded ads for onboarding, privacy controls, account deletion, workout execution, nutrition logging, safety information, or other core app functionality.
Do not attempt to manipulate ads, simulate ad interactions, repeatedly trigger rewarded ads through automated behavior, or bypass advertising, consent, or fraud-prevention controls.
9. Beta Software and App Changes
Bodymodo may be in beta. Features may change, break, disappear, or behave unexpectedly. The Developer Team may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time.
10. No Guaranteed Results
Fitness, nutrition, hydration, and body-composition outcomes vary by person. Bodymodo does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, injury prevention, performance improvement, habit formation, or any specific result.
11. Acceptable Use
Do not use Bodymodo to:
- Break laws or violate another person's rights.
- Harm yourself or others.
- Submit misleading, harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
- Reverse engineer, abuse, overload, disrupt, or attack the App or related services.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, service limits, consent controls, Cloud sync controls, advertising controls, or future paid-feature boundaries.
- Use AI features to create unsafe, abusive, or illegal content.
12. Third-Party Services
Bodymodo uses services such as Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Firestore, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase AI Logic / Gemini, Firebase App Check / Play Integrity, Google User Messaging Platform, and Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. These services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
13. Intellectual Property
Bodymodo, including its design, text, software, exercise catalog, visual assets, and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Developer Team, except for third-party materials that remain owned by their respective owners.
You may use Bodymodo for personal, non-commercial purposes as allowed by these Terms. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create competing products from Bodymodo content or software except where allowed by law.
14. Changes to the App or Terms
The Developer Team may update the App or these Terms from time to time. When Terms change materially, Bodymodo may ask you to review and accept the updated legal documents. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Disclaimers
Bodymodo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Developer Team disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bodymodo and the Developer Team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for injuries, losses, claims, or damages arising from your use of the App, workouts, meals, AI output, reminders, recommendations, ads, optional rewards, or third-party services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.
